Today, GOOD FRIDAY, is a great illustration of the times in which we live. Where what we SEE is not always TRUE and often what we PERCEIVE is not REALITY. When the apostles saw Jesus on the cross they PERCEIVED He had LOST but in REALITY He had chosen to GIVE-UP HIS LIFE because of His love for the world. Then three days later their eyes beheld the TRUTH and their PERCEPTION came into line with REALITY when HE ROSE in VICTORY! His life was not taken from Him but He gave it up FREELY as a SACRIFICE so that we could be FORGIVEN, REBORN, REDEEMED AND SAVED. The ultimate VICTORY of eternal life with Him forever had been won and by His SACRIFICE we also were given the ability to live an overcoming, abundant and joy filled life while on earth. God always WINS. 🙂 So when you are confused by what you SEE and PERCEIVE, don’t be deceived but believe God and His PROMISES walking by FAITH not by SIGHT in the LIGHT and LOVE of JESUS. Amen?
